Post 'A's Fun!
Sunday, November 25, 2007
Well, I'm finally enjoying my freedom fully. The last few days were absolutely great fun! I had chalet on Friday and Saturday, don't ask why it's only one day because that's how it was.
So anyway I woke up pretty late on Friday, like 11 am and ready to go to chalet. Met Alvin, Ayong and Wei Liang at Jurong East MRT at like 2 pm (I was late by abit as usual). So anyway after a long trip to Pasir Ris, we wanted to eat Sakae Sushi but eventually didn't thanks to time constraints. I ended up eating a totally rip-off five bucks duck rice. WTF was that? FIVE bucks? Anyway after that we went to the chalet, nothing really fun happened until the morning where we played poker card games which was lots of fun. Watching Michael Long get bankrupt SIX times certainly made me pretty high. After that I went outside to take some artistic pictures of the night and sunrise. Obviously I failed, most photos sucked. Looks like photographing isn't exactly an easy thing to learn. Afterward I returned to the chalet to find everyone knocked out from the lack of sleep. I struggled to last till 11 am, making my 24 hours without sleep mark, then promptly knocked out on the MRT and at home.

Stupid blur picture. Note, I wasn't the photographer just so you know.
Today's even more epic. Woke up just before 10 am and then used the computer. Then went to Paya Lebar with Skyy, Damien, xSHARDx, Samuel and Paul, the SGSB dudes to have steamboat buffet. And now for food review...
*** FOOD REVIEW ***
Paradise on Earth Steamboat Restaurant
Location: Paya Lebar, near Tanjong Katong Girls School
Cost: Approximately $18
Well, this is my first time doing such a review, so I'm not gonna be professional and comment much on the ambiance, etc. So anyway, I was late, again by a little for the outing. (I seriously must change this habit.)
Food: Well, it's a free flow of ingredients so food aplenty for everyone. The soup was great. The taste of it was just rich, even quite before adding in many of the ingredients. So I'd say a plus point for that. As for the ingredients, it's the usual steamboat fare, but what I say distinguishes stuff really is the soup. Tasty stuff!
I would recommend trying that place out at least once for people who are steamboat junkies. No pictures though, was quite busy enjoying the food to bother taking any pictures. Well, I guess I should take pictures when I go for other food outings in the future.
*** END OF REVIEW ***
After that the bunch of us, minus Skyy and xSHARDx went off to Bugis for some Beatmania IIDX fun! I realised how much I sucked at that game. Even first timer Samuel did better than me when I had a little prior practice already. Outrun 2 SP was a flop for me, I screwed up in alot of places, and even accidentally pressed the wrong settings. Sorry Damien! >_< Looks like I'm so buying that KOC keyboard to play that at home. Hope I can get it under $100 though, hopefully.
Went off to Estelle's house for the Spectra party after that. Kinda got lost halfway, as I didn't know the exact location. But oh well, I found out MGS's just so near to King Albert Park! Intelligence +1, you can now equip Robe of the Mages. Lawl okay, just ignore that. The party was darn cool, the first thing after I entered the house, Estelle dragged me to put nail paint on my fingernails. I was like WTF at first. But now, heheh, I think I kinda like my fingernail paint, so I'm keeping them. =)
And the Spectra juniors were so sweet. Aw. They even got us seniors props for the party. I got a deer hairband, utterly cute wearing it around for fun. I really must thank them for all the work they put into this party. Domo arigatou mina! I also borrowed my mum's K810i, will be using it till my enlistment. So yay, new phone!
Ahahahaha, so fun so fun, I think I shall change my hairstyle and experiment with stuff, I got two months to live life to its fullest, and I shall live it to the fullest!

Super cool nail paint! I actually like it. =)

Mah awesome spectra jacket, "We are teh leet, phear us !!!!!"

The side of my jacket, personalised with "No Eye Deer"

I guess you know why my I have a deer hairband now.. || posted by Kuan Hui
