SPAIN!!!!!

So I was right, the Spanish really did have an edge over the Germans. Basically from what I see, the Germans didn't really have any bite against Spain. They kept losing the ball when it mattered, right up to the last second. Castillas didn't really had to work that hard to secure his clean sheet. On the contrary, it was Lehmann who was defending wonderfully for Germany, and I'd say he did well to keep the scoreline at 1-0, though he still slipped a couple of times by not catching the ball properly. Still, that was great goalkeeping there.

Poor Fabregas, he didn't really had many chances there due to all the marking, but he still did great.

Poor Ballack, getting a cut in the eye, which could very well have affected his performance, but he did well defending and attacking. Sad for him to keep losing the finals and semi-finals. Gotta pity him.

And Torres, he was excellent. His pace and killer instincts are definitely top notch, that, coupled with his height, make him a great striker. He could have easily gotten a 2-0 scoreline, given all his chances, if not for the Germans' luck. His pace in front of the goal was amazing, always beating defenders to the ball and almost scoring, as well as that header which hit the post.

Well, great match even though it's just a one-goal game. Loved every moment of it, because both teams played beautiful attacking football and I support them.

Hell, it's about time for Spain to win something.
