One of my colleagues at work delivered her baby yesterday. So today we drove down in Casey's car all the way to the East. East Shore Hospital to be exact. So we eventually managed to find our way there during lunch time and went to visit her. Meh, her baby weighs 4kg at birth. I'm sure he'll turn out into a tall and large-sized adult, ahaha. So anyway before that we were waiting to enter the ward, and then I saw this dad carry his baby and walking around, trying to pacify the baby. Though he must have felt really proud to be a father. It jolted my senses, and made me think about my feelings and emotions should I become a father sometime in the distant future, and holding a living, breathing life that's your very own child. It must be a wonderful and proud experience, well that's what I think it is. Thinking of the Lord, I think I'm blessed to feel this way right now, because I think I just understood a little more about our wonderful life that our Lord and Father gave us in this world.

Anyway, so the officers in her department came, and the rest of us guys were on cue to leave the hospital. So we said our goodbyes. Well, we won't be seeing her for the next three months, and I think she'll get her good rest in the meantime. And when she's back, there's this new building ready for her. :)

It was about 1 pm after we left the hospital, and boy were we all hungry. So in search of a place to eat, we drove around in Casey's car. Unfortunately (or should I say fortunately?), there was no space to park the car. So we just drove on, and then Casey spotted something awesome: Beach Road Prawn Mee Eating House. Yeah, we were so gonna go there to eat there. So as we passed the stall, we saw the place packed worse than sardines. Anyway we found a place to park (albeit illegally beside the road) and trooped over to the store. The prawn mee was AWESOME man. The prawns were so fresh and huge and juicy, and the soup was so tasty, even the $5.50 bowl I ordered wasn't nearly enough to satisfy me. Actually $5.50 was your normal sized bowl, so yeah, the price is a little steep, but who cares if the food is worth it? I'm definitely going back there again to eat, I mean, prawn mee that beats the one in Newton? Oho, it's definitely goooood.

Well, what a good lunch it was, and well, midweek is over. Yay! I'm so looking forward to the weekends.
