Been a long time since I last posted. Many things happened, a holiday to Malaysia, start of a new year, interview offers from UK, things just rush by.

In fact, I felt that this year's Chinese New Year came by much faster than previous years. No idea why, but the last Chinese New Year felt like just a short while go. Maybe it's because of the monotony of work (and NS life). No wonder people always say that time flies, just a flash and it's the next year already.

Oh well, but regardless, Chinese New Year holds a greater importance to me and my family than other holidays. For one, it's one of the rare times the whole family gathers together. And although not everyone is that close to each other, I enjoy the sense of gathering of a family, and the house becomes a noisy and lively place. Some may not like the buzz, but I say, such liveliness in a family once in a while is good for the heart as it is good for the head.

I do hope I can get closer to my relatives, I think such simple pleasures in life such as being together does matter alot in life. Doesn't it?
