Drat, holidays are finally over. But thankfully the charm about start-of-the-week holidays are that you can look forward to the holidays the week before AND enjoy the short work week after the holidays are over. Better than a Friday holiday anyway.
So I somehow managed to down 1/3 a bottle of red wine on New Year's Eve because no one wanted it, and I felt slightly dizzy after that. Wine didn't taste too good anyway, it felt kinda rough, but I thought it was a waste to throw it away so I drank it all down in the end, lol.
And now after all the holidays are gone, I'm suddenly feeling hungry. Maybe it's because of all the eating of all the tidbits throughout the day that perpetually keeps you on a decently full if not bloated stomach, so much so that I think my stomach now feel deprived of food all of a sudden. Or maybe it just wants some Famous Amos chocolate cookies.
Well at any rate, it feels good to have my English birthday fall on the 2nd day of Chinese New Year. For one, you get the extra special feeling you don't normally get on such occasions. And it's such a rare occurrence anyway, because the next time my birthday falls on the 2nd day of Chinese New Year, it'll be year 2028, and by then I'll be like what, 39 years old already?
So in any case I'll be modest and say the next time my birthday falls on Chinese New Year's Eve will be in 2017, 28 years old, not that bad, and I'm likely to be not married yet, so can still receive extra angpaos. Muahahaha!
