Tonight I went to church to attend the service for the late Rev Dr Timothy Tow. Indeed we are blessed to have him around and done so much. Without him, there would be no Bible-Presbyterian Churches in Singapore which practise Biblical Separation and keep to the faith of the Lord. The example of his life is an example and inspiration for me to keep the faith and to spread the Gospel. Indeed, though it is sad that we have lost such an individual, we should also be happy that he has returned to the arms of the Lord.

Thank God that my uncle had nose cancer, thank God for that.

My uncle was diagnosed with nose cancer in the 1980s, before I was born. Back then, he was a non-believer. But, afflicted with this disease, the medical expenses would be a heavy burden onto his family, but he also accepted the Lord. Things definitely changed for his family then. So my aunt decided that she would raise children for the extra income. It was no coincidence that both my parents were working then, and they needed someone to take care of me when I was born. So I was raised in my uncle's house ever since I was a baby. Growing up in a house with strong Christian values, I surely became a Christian in heart by God's grace. And even more so, that when I was young my uncle's cancer went into remission. It was only until I was older, 4-5 years old that he had a relapse. No doubt the last days of my uncle's life was one of pain and suffering, but he did not fear death, for he surely drew closer to God during the last days.

Praise the Lord, for he saved both me and my uncle by giving my uncle cancer. Who would have thought that the cancer would actually be a good thing? God works in mysterious ways incomprehensible by us, for His ways are higher than ours, what more do we need to do but to put our complete faith in Him, love Him and defend His Word? No doubt the arthritis that I have has a purpose that I cannot see at the moment. But with God, everything is possible. Amen.

God will take care of you,
Through every day, o'er all the way;
He will take care of you,
God will take care of you.
