Repentance comes before faith, which comes before understanding.

If this is the case, as it surely is, then repenting from our sins will give us the faith necessary to walk blessedly in our Lord.

I sin daily. Anger, covetousness, lack of faith, being shy to proclaim Jesus outwardly. It becomes clear that I need to continually analyse and be cognitive about my behaviour and thoughts, to avoid sinning my daily sins. I need to think more before I speak, speak slower, and think more deeply, in a more nuanced way, to allow me to dissect my emotions, words, and thoughts, and distill them into words which I can then express to myself. There is so much personal development that I still have to undergo.
