I am very honoured by what my church sees in me. Stories come to my ear, telling me that the older folks in the church all really like me. Yesterday, Pastor Lek was sharing about how some people, when convicted of their heart by the Lord, just start to attend church and never stop. He mentioned that I was one of such people. Here I am, thinking back and feeling blessed over all these praises. To be honest, I do not think I fully deserve all the praises that are heaped upon me, because I know God was the one who changed me, so I cannot claim credit for it.

Looking back at the week, I've come to the realisation how powerful a church community can be. And given how blessed I am, despite feeling hurt and unhappy at times, I would never, ever want to go back to my old life again. The only way is forward, in growing ever closer to Jesus, in trusting him with a child-like faith in every decision, big and small, that I take. || posted by Kuan Hui
