It's 3 am in the morning and I was about to go to sleep. I was lazing in front of the computer watching a YouTube video. Suddenly out of the corner of my eye I saw a flash of light outside the window, akin to lightning. Looking up I saw a slightly greenish-white ball of light (think copper flame, only brighter) about a metre long fall down from the sky and disappeared behind the block. The whole event probably lasted about a second. For a moment there I was confused, had the moon fallen? Was it fireworks? There was no sound. So after a while I realised I had been witness to a very rare phenomenon, ball lightning. To think it happened right outside my house, with no rain, just really cool weather. Amazing how I got the chance to see such a phenomenon. God is amazing! || posted by Kuan Hui
