What does it take but for a 17-year old student and friend's blog to remind me to remain humble? To not assume that because I am older, I am automatically wiser. The younger can also teach the elder.

Reading Jack's blog has reminded me not to assume that because I am older and more experienced, I am ahead in a 'higher circle' and stage of life than those younger. I am reminded of what I had read earlier in the day: the young man Elihu who appears in the Book of Job. He reprimands Job, as well as his three friends who have come to offer thorny comfort to Job. Isn't my situation rather similar to that? Am I not being reminded to remain humble by God through Jack?

Thank God for this timely lesson and reflection.
