As a child I used to read the children's version of the Bible. The stories of Moses, Joshua, Samson, David, Solomon, Elijah, Elisha, Nehemiah, Jonah used to fascinate me. But what I read then were little more than stories to me then. The stories told were too far back to relate to a young boy in a modern world of mechanics and electronics.

These days as I re-encounter these stories and go deeper in understanding them, they have taken a whole new world of difference in meaning to me. The physical, emotional, and spiritual struggles these people of God have gone through are a huge feat: one that can only be accomplished by faith in Christ. How wonderful and amazing it is to read these 'stories' once again and appreciating God on a whole new level. || posted by Kuan Hui
