I was in the shower after watching LKY's grandson's eulogies. Thinking about it evoked memories of Ah Ma when she was hospitalised. I think that was in 2011, when we went to see her, she could not recognise me at the hospital bed. How much fatigue, pain and confusion it must have been to be able to forget a family member for those few days. Back then I didn't feel that much for the situation my grandmother was in. I couldn't really empathise despite knowing she was important to me. Perhaps there was a sense of detachment from my world to reality. Thank God she recovered from that one,that thw family could spend a few more months with her then. || posted by Kuan Hui
