"And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength" (Mark 12:30)
What does it take to love and trust God and to lay everything at His feet? Why do the frustrations over the impasses in my life overwhelm my faith in Him? How do I take it all to Him and say, "Lord, this is all I have: my life and my worries, my joys and my sadness, my desires and my dislikes. My failures and my successes. My sins that I carry daily. Take them all and make me your servant without any semblance of defiance."
Oh how tough the daily struggle can be. How tough the cross weighs down on me. How I have knowledge that God is watching over my daily journey, ensuring that I don't carry more than I can bear, but yet frustrated at this fatigue that I have.
Sometimes I just want to cry out, "I've had enough of all these!" But yet I'm always challenged to press on. || posted by Kuan Hui
